Getting references is important in hiring. On Spare Staff, you can find unbiased, verified reviews from previous members who have worked with the other person in the past. This helps you make informed decision when it comes to hiring the right person for the job, or working for the right company.

Our secure messaging platform lets you get to know a hirer or a worker and ask questions about a job ahead of time. We make it safe and secure for hirers and workers to easily send instant messages to each other.

Profiles

Everyone on Spare Staff has a profile to help other hirers or workers get to know each other. To hire or get hired, you’ll be asked to provide your full name, phone number, and email address. Hirers must provide phone number, location, specific shift details, pay rate. Job ads must represent genuine work opportunities in Australia.

Find who you’re looking to hire for by reading workers’ profiles and introductions etc. Found a worker you like? Be sure to read the person’s profile and introduction, reviews thoroughly.

Read the ratings & reviews

Look through feedback from past hirers to help find the right person for the job. You’ll see ratings and detailed reviews with authentic feedback about the worker. Hirers can only leave a review after they’ve hired that specific worker, so you know the feedback you’re seeing is based on actual experiences.

Get your questions answered

Our secure messaging platform is a safe and easy way for you to ask a candidate any questions you have about their previous work experience, knowledge before you send a hiring request. After the request has been accepted, you can also message the worker to start onboarding process.

Keep yourself, and your personal information protected by staying on our secure platform throughout the entire process – from communication, to hiring. You should never be asked to wire money, provide credit card information or otherwise pay a worker or hirer directly. If you are, please report it to us immediately.
